city, Tigard embodies all these things and more, successfully melding
a friendly, small-town feel with the amenities of a modern city. Situated
in the Tualatin Valley and a mere 10 miles from Portland, the beauty
of the vast Pacific Ocean and the grandeur of Mt Hood in the Oregon
Cascade Mountains are a short drive away for fun family adventures.

the vitality of Tigard and the neighborhoods reflect that, revolving
around the excellent schools of the Tualatin-Tigard School District,
which include nine elementary, three middle and two high schools.

and Sherwood actively promote the arts, the Deb Fennel Auditorium
hosts the professional Broadway Rose Theatre. Tigard maintains its
small-town feel with a weekly Farmer’s market and a variety
of community-based festivals including the Festival of Balloons,
the 4th of July fireworks show, and the Tigard Blast end of summer
celebration. Tigard is also home to Washington Square; the Northwest’s
largest climate controlled shopping mall, featuring a wide array

beautiful city enjoy the multitude of outdoor activities as well,
including the 79 acre Cook Park on the banks of the Tualatin River,
Summerlake Park and Fanno Creek Park. There are also several public
